Acme & Co is het geesteskind van Jeff Kennedy – New Zealand Specialty Coffee Association inaugurele Lifetime Achievement Award ontvanger en Godfather of New Zealand espresso. Acme & Co werd in 2011 opgericht door Jeff en partner Bridget Dunn van Jeff’s jarenlange ambitie om de tassen te maken die hij altijd al wilde hebben. Nieuw-Zeeland diende als de perfecte testmarkt voor het ontwerp en de duurzaamheid van de Acme cup serie.

With the Acme Taster range, we wanted to design a cupping bowl that not only had the desired features but that was also multi-functional. The bottoms are coloured, making them perfect for triangulations. The 110ml Taster Cups are a perfect size for a piccolo or fluffy.
Matches all Small 11cm saucers – purchase cups separately or with the matching white saucers.

We designed the bowl to be a little tighter so that the crust doesn’t disperse and the bloom is tighter. Then it does coming to the break the grinds have further to fall giving you more space to taste your coffee.
